Round Over Jig ver.0.1
Design Overview
Many people have traced a round shape using the bottom of a can or a bottle cap, cut along the line with a saw, and then smoothed it out with sandpaper. However, reproducing the exact same shape over and over turns out to be surprisingly difficult. You could make your own guide, but if the guide itself isn't accurate, the results won't be consistent either.
So I designed a routing guide for radius corners using Fusion 360. It comes in three sizes: R19mm (3/4"), R25mm (1"), and R35mm (the equivalent of 1-3/8"). Going larger than this starts to push the limits of this structure's clamping strength. For clamping, this jig uses a Microjig MATCHFIT Dovetail Clamp, keeping the fixture compact and easy to store.
